Swimming

SWIMMING

Is by far our most FAVORITE thing to do in the SUMMER TIME!  We are so lucky to have a POOL at our grandma and grandpa's house...and this SUMMER we will be living here! So bring on the beach towls, bathing suits, and sunscreen!  Today we enjoyed our first swim with our cousins!

Charlie was a bit shy getting into the pool at first, he played under the deck with his cars for awhile, and then we coaxed him into the water and let his cars have a swim too!

Oh, Boy! This is going to be the summer of swimming in the deep end without life jackets or water wings! Pretty much every summer of their life, Logan and Gracie have swam in grandmas pool...they love the water, and feel very comfortable with it...Logan a bit more than Gracie, but she has come a long way...I remember the days when she would barely dare put her face in the water, and now she is going under with out even plugging her nose!  At the end of last summer, Logan was ready to take off his life jacket, and now this summer he is a FISH! Swimming so well in the deep with out any help...Gracie is gaining more confidence and will be in the deep with him in no time, I am thinking this summer she may even branch out and go off the diving board!

Hansen Family Cabin

Today we spent the afternoon with Grandpa Hansen at the cabin.  The kids had fun digging holes in the dirt, driving the 4-wheeler, shooting sling shots and bb guns. We finnished off our afternoon with a trip to our favorite pizza joint in Logan, Fredricos, and then took the kids to walk around our old stomping grounds at Utah State University.  We showed them where mommy and daddy met for the first time and where we shared our True Aggie kiss atop the A!

SOCCER

Logan has turned out to be quite the soccer player...a natural athlete. He grins from ear to ear as he chases the ball around.  We love to watch him and cheer for him.  He averages about THREE goals per game.

Going for the GOAL!

Hoppy Easter!

The Easter Bunny found us this year...and boy did we get a LOT of candy! We died easter eggs and had a nice Easter dinner with our own little family...We are so blessed and so grateful as well for the true reason we celebrate easter...we love our Savior and are so grateful for His great love for us...because of his atonement and resurrection, we will have the opportunity to be with our family forever...there is no Easter candy or gift that is sweeter than that!

Easter Bunny Picnic

Today we went to the Arboretum with some friends (the Perkins families, the Southwicks, and the Evans') for a picnic and an easter egg hunt. The kids had such fun, and it was such a lovely day!
