Don't Do It AGAIN!

One day when we were at Walmart...Logan asked me "What is this mommy?" as he pulled the red emergency handle on a door and sounded all the alarms in the entire store! Imbarrasing Mother Moment!
Today, we went shopping with some friends to Spokane and I caught a picture of him checking out the emergency door...so glad he knows better now!

Charlie's Eyes

Today we took a family trip up to Spokane for Charlie's eye appointment. He did great at his appointment, and I was so impressed with this clinic...they were wonderful! The doctor said Charlie's right eye has improved with wearing his glasses, but his left eye is still not focusing in sync with his right eye...so we will continue to wear glasses to correct his vision...the doctor emphasized how important it is for Charlie to wear his glasses as much as possible. ..or he could be at risk of ambliopia (lazy eye) where the poor eye gives up and is un-able to be corrected with glasses. They want to see Charlie again in 6 months for a follow-up and a new perscription.

Girls Day!

I have always wanted to wait until Gracie wanted her ears peirced, before we did it...and when she was ready we would make a special day of it.  So recently I asked her if she was ready to get her ears pierced...and she said that she wasn't ready yet. Then a few days ago, she woke up and said, "I am getting my ears peirced today!" I told her that we wouldn't be able to go that day, and that I would talk to daddy and see when he could watch the boys and then we would go have a girls day and get her ears peirced  and go out to lunch...Well, she was so upset that we wouldn't be going that day that she started crying, and sobbing, and then she went and laid on her bed and continued the drama and the tears (which I was kindof excited about because I knew for sure that SHE really wanted her ears peirced and that she was ready) She ended up being so patient and waited a few days til we could go on our special date. We went to Claires at the mall, and she was SO brave! I held her hands in front of her and with a  lady on each side 1,2,3 and it was done! As soon as they did it, she burst into quiet tears...I held her for a few minutes and feeling badly  that she was hurt, we walked over to Bath and Body to buy her a little lotion (she loves smelly lotions and sprays). Then we were off to her favorite place to eat...Arbys. When we got home, she just loved looking at her new sparkley dimonds in the mirror...I can't believe how fast she is growing...she is such a beautiful little girl...so glad she is mine!

Charlie Relaxing

There is something so wonderful about the day that your little toddlers learn to relax! Usually they are off getting into things or busy exploring, so it is so nice when they are finally still. Today I found Gracie and Charlie watching TV on my bed...I love how charlie is all propped up and comfy on my pillows...AHhh! The joy of being still!

Soccer Sign Up

Logan is our little athlete! He is so excited to start his first season of SOCCER!
We went and registered him today at the Moscow Parks and Rec. office. He got a yellow and black jersey, and he could hardly wait to get it on! We also went to the Walmart and got him some shin guards and soccer cleats...We can't hardly wait to see our little buddy score his first GOAL!

Green Eggs and Ham!

I do not like green eggs and ham...I do not like them Sam I am!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DR. SEUSS

Today in celebration of Dr. Seuss' birthday, we had green eggs and ham for dinner...the kids loved it! We also read LOTS of Dr. Seuss books today! I started a tradition this year...On Dr. Seuss' birthday I will give my children a new book to add to our library. This year we added "The Cat in the Hat" "Green Eggs and Ham" and "Who is that Snoring".
