Cinder-ellie, Cinder-ellie

To make mopping our disgusting, industrial, cafetiria-style floors a bit more fun for myself, I turned on Cinderella...you know the part where she is mopping the floors, and singing...I thought that might make the kids want to help me...didn't work...they just wanted to watch the movie! It  took some coaxting, but I finally got them to come and help...we managed to clean the floors and make a mess at the same time.
You're probably thinking, "Wait a minute...a picture of Logan playing with tractors in the wood chips has nothing to do with mopping the floors?" Oh...let me just tell you...it does! After we spicked and spanned the floors, Mr. Logan innocently went out to play with his tractors, and when he was done, he just so innocently walked over the top of our nice clean floors dropping flecks of dirt and woodchips in his path! "Grr," said Cinderella.

That's my girl!

This morning I walked down stairs to see Gracie in her PJ's looking at a Better Homes and Gardens magazine...I felt so proud...I love having a girl...I hope she likes to create and decorate like me...what fun we will have together!

Glasses and a ONE year old

After several visits to the pediatric eye doctor, it was determined that Charlie's eyes were out of focus enough that he needed to wear glasses to correct his vision....thus began our journey into the world of a one year old in glasses. We got him his first pair of glasses back in August just before we moved to moscow...just as he was getting use to them, they got lost somewhere during the move!
This is the SECOND pair...brown...isn't he darling!

The yank and pull off..."Did mom see me pull off my glasses?"
Now when he pulls them off, he just hands them to me!

"Uh...Mom...you put them on crooked"

Later that same day...snap...broke the 2nd pair

This is the THIRD pair...two weeks after we got it.

We are now on our FOURTH pair.

The Latah County Fair

Josh was up studying today, so I thought it would be fun to take the kids over to the fair to look at the animals.  We had a blast! Not only did we get to see the animals...we also came away with two snow cones, a carmel apple, a cotton candy, and a ride on a spaceship!

We are reading Charlotte's Web, so we had to take a picture of Wilbur!

Oh...and here is Fern.

We caught some cows kissing!

Charlie LOVED the baby chicks!

So...excited for that 1 carnival ride!

To outerspace we go!

Park Days

We go to the park a lot here in Moscow...our favorite is Ghromly Park near campus...we call it the "Balance Beam Park" because it has a balance beam.  We also have met a little squirrel friend that we have affectionatly named Cheeto...because we toss him Cheetos and he takes them up to his tree and snarfs them! It is very cute to watch him munch a cheeto. Here are some of our favorite photos from the park this fall.
Logan is a monkey!

Yikes! I didn't know wheather to snap a photo,
or run to catch him in case he fell! Logan is fearless!

Wee! I can't beleive Charlie is big enough to play
on the toys!

Charlie loves swinging

Logan and Gracie learned how to "pump" on the swing this summer!

September Temple Trip

"I love to play by the temple, I'll go inside some day..."

We have set a goal to attend the temple once a month...while going to school and being so far away from family, we need all the extra help we can get! The drive is about 1.5 hours to the Spokanne temple...so, we have decided to make it a family event.  Josh and I take turns doing inititories and spending time with the kids...On my turn with the kids, we went to a small park behind the temple...It was a beautiful fall day, I am so grateful for the temple, and I look forward to many more family trips there.

Charlie want a cracker!

Oh, today I took a trip down memory lane...I can't even count how many messes and boxes of cereal that the twins dumped onto the floor, now Charlie is at that same wonderful curious age!

Logan and Gracie go to "school"

Every day Logan and Gracie go to "school" in the shrub behind our house.  They love to play on the green box inside the shrub, and have created this "school"...they have a teacher... and she gives them homework.  So they gather crayons, color books, story books, sometimes they want me to pack them a lunch, and then off they go to "school".  They entertain themselves for quite some time at their "school"...I  enjoy the silence while they are gone...I have yet to meet their "teacher" though.

Sledding in September!

The sprinkling system is broke at our appartment complex, so the grass is all dry, yellow, and dead. We also have oodles of moving boxes...put the two together and the ugly, yucky, dry grass turns into a slippery wonderland that brings lots of laughter and tons of fun...hours of fun...into the dark fun!

Charlie LOVES Cheetoes

While picnicing at the park, I let Charlie go on an almost empty bag of Cheetoes...he loved them...doesn't everyone? If only they weren't so messy!

Humm...what's in here

num...num...num..

Oh...I just can't get enough!

Happily covered in cheeto goodness!

Ah...I need a drink!

Logan

Logan is all boy!  He loves to run around, ride his bike (speaking of, he took his own training wheels off this past summer), wrestle with his sister, clobber his brother, play the wii (which he is getting very good at), and did I mention what a little athlete he is...pretty much a natural at all sports. There is however a very sensitive side to my little Logan...he is tender and sweet and loves to snuggle. He loves to clean and organize things.  Recently, he was being all quiet and I found him up in his room..."I am organizing my drawers mom."
Logan loves to dust
Each sock in its place
He lined up his ties and rolled his belts just like his daddy does
