Time with daddy

Josh spends a lot of time up at school studding...he is amazing...I don't know how he does it...I can barely make it through a paragraph of one of his books and I am banging my head against the wall saying, "hugh?" So, daddy time is very welcome around here.  Josh comes home for dinner every night around 5:00 and then stays for an hour, if we are lucky two...we eat then he spends some time playing with the kiddos.  I am so grateful to have a husband who is not only ambitious, smart, funny and oh yes, handsome, but he is also a wonderful father.

Winter Wonderland

Snow boots, mittens, gloves, scarves, and hats are all strewn about...the winter bag burst open this morning as soon as the kids spotted the blanket of new snow outside!  It was cold, but the kids had a ball...Charlie even went out and played...for like 10 min...the same amount of time that it took me to get him all bundled up!

Thanksgiving

This year we celebrated Thanksgiving with our little law school family...we have become such great friends with the Perkins and the Neilson families.  We have so much to be thankful for this year...we are so blessed with wonderful family and friends.  Moving from a nice house and a job, to a tiny appartment and no job certainly has been an adjustment, but it has also made me realize that we don't need much to be happy...food on the table, healthy minds and bodies, a roof over our heads, family, friends, the gospel, and eachother...everything else is just fluff.  I am so grateful for this law school experience to help me realize the things that are most important in life. Our thanksgiving spread was delicious...the company was even better.

Thanksgiving dinner would not be complete without a discussion of legal matters.

Once there was a snowman

Joy brought a craft for us to work on while they were here...we made these most adorable snowmen out of paper clay, styrafoam balls, paint, and of course glitter...aren't they the most adorable gift for friends and neighbors!

Grandma and Grandpa come to town!

Grandma and Grandpa Sundloff came to visit us for a couple days...we made gingerbread houses, went out to eat, spent an afternoon in Coeur d'Alene, went to Costco, went to the movies, and had a blast playing with them. Grandma even taught Charlie to dip his fries in ketchup. What a blessing family is, it was so wonderful spending time with our grandma and grandpa...can't wait to see them soon for Christmas break!

Don't Fall In!

One of our most favorite places in Moscow is the Arboretum...it is the most beautiful place! The kids and I call it heaven...it is this lush and grassy gully filled with beautiful trees and ponds. Today was a beautiful, sunny November day, so we thought we would enjoy it once more before winter comes.

Unfortunatly, our visit today was very short...Gracie enjoyed the pond a little too much and  fell in head first!  She was freezing and wet...so glad I had a picnic blanket to wrap her in...and my camera to document it all!
"Gracie...you are getting a bit close to the water."

She got some moss...

And I was worried about the baby getting too close to the water...
Good thing I had big brother Logan around.

Before I grabbed her the quilt...I grabbed my camera!
I am a horrible mother!

It was a sunny day...but a sunny day in November...
She was freezing!  And we still had to hike back up to the car!

Pajama Switch

Every night before I go to bed, I go in and cover the kids up and kiss them while they are sleeping.  Tonight, when I went in to Logan and Gracie's room this is what I found...which one of these things doesn't belong?
