Perspective

Perspective: The way one looks at something.

Two bedrooms. One is large with space to play. One is small, with 12" between the beds. One is colorful and interresting, the otherl is plain. Both bedrooms, however are made to sleep two beautiful, healthy, happy children. Both bedrooms are filled with laughter and love...which with a little perspective is better than space and beauty.

Bowling Night!

Tonight we went bowling for Bradley Perkins birthday party! The kids had a blast!

I love bowling shoes!

Charlie and Sydney on a date in the stroller...we didn't want them
running free in the bowling alley! They weren't so happy to be stuck
in the stroller.

Road Trips

I like to take the kids up to Spokane or Coeur d'alene for little outings every once in a while. It is easy to get cooped up in Moscow...so it is nice to venture out where the city folk live.  I dragged the kids everywhere today, and this is what they looked like when we got home! Folded in half...asleep! Glad those seat belts work at holding them up! This picture makes me laugh out loud! They were so tired!

Like Father Like Son

I love my husband! He is amazing in so many ways, but one thing he is really good at is reading his scriptures each morning before school...he usually reads while he eats his bowl of cereal. The other wonderful thing is that while he is doing this, the kids are just waking up and watching cartoons...so they get to see their dads example of reading his scriptures. Well, our little Logan wants to be like his dad in every way! So, he usually gets dressed soon after he wakes up, because dad is dressed, and he sometimes likes to pour his own cereal because that is what dad does...so today, I walk in to the kitchen to ask Logan what he wants for breakfast, and he allready has his clothes on, his cereal poured, and he is "reading" daddys scriputres that were left on the table.  I used to get annoyed that Josh would leave his scriptures on the table..."just put them away when you are done" I would think....but after this, I decided that scriptures laying around are a good thing!

Bubbles

We don't have a dishwasher...so I am constantly doing the dishes! Charlie LOVES to help me! He will saty, "bubbles, bubbles" and then he will go and get a chair and try to push it over to the sink. He gets so excited to play in the bubbles. I love my little helper!

Best Friends

Today I walked into the room and Logan and Gracie were snuggled up on the chair looking at this book together...I love when they play sweetly...Something about them being twins makes these times even more special.

Valentines Day

Today I gave the kids little gifts of love...Logan got a new helmet, because I love his head! I cringe every time he flies down our hill on his bike with out a helmet!  Gracie got a tea set ($5 at Walmart...real porcalin...and Darling!) to add to her collection, and what girl doesn't LOVE a new nail polish on Valentines day...Charlie got a couple of books. We ate heart shaped french toast for breakfast. We had a playdate at McDonalds with some friends and we took them our new favorite treat! Cake Pops! And then, if that doesn't sound like a fun enough V-Day, we had our friends over for dinner!  I also threw in a couple of pics of our RS Valentine activity that was last week. I was in charge of the decorations, and made the word banners from lyrics to popular hymns and scriptures about love.

We made gumball necklaces for our favorite friends

Winter Play

We  had a ton of SNOW this winter! The kids have had a fun time playing outside...even little Charlie enjoyed himself for like 5 min! We didn't have a sled, and I was too cheap to buy one, so we turned to the next best thing...my big metal kitchen bowl! Perfect for little, tiny bums. We had fun making snowmen, and painting the snow too!

I LOVE this little profile!

This is his face after about 5 min. of the snow and cold!

These two had a ball in the snow! On one of the coldest days I think they spent close to 2 hours
outside playing with all the little neighbor kids.

Yes...Popsicles are still a favorite at our house...even in the winter!

Gracie eating her breakfast out in the snow...
French toast...or should we say snow toast!

Cooking with Mommy

One of my favorite things to do is bake with my children. Yes, it is a bit messy, and hectic, and squishy in our tiny kitchen, but I love how excited they get to help and taste....they love to taste.

Field Trip

Today Jamie and I packed into our van and took the kiddos to Spokane for the day. We had a blast! The big kids loved the escalator at the mall, and went up and down, up and down...Charlie and Sydney just chilled in their strollers...we took turns going in the stores the mommys wanted to go into and that the kids wanted to go into...Jamie is such a great friend...we could talk forever...if only we didn't have so many interuptions!
